STAMEQ-ULSE
Conference on Consumer Battery Products Standards
31 March 2026, Ha Noi, Viet Nam

PROGRAM

The Conference on Consumer Battery Products Standards seeks to strengthen awareness and facilitate adoption of safety standards for battery-powered consumer products in Viet Nam, including micromobility devices and power banks. As lithium-ion battery use rises alongside urbanization and increased use of emerging technologies, safety risks such as overheating, fires, and explosions have become increasingly prominent. This one-day conference, convened by the Viet Nam Commission for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) and UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE), will bring together regulators, industry players, and testing professionals to share global best practices and address safety challenges. The event will highlight the role of international standards in enhancing product safety, supporting regulatory alignment, and building consumer confidence, while also introducing key standards and safety initiatives to promote safer, more sustainable adoption of battery-powered technologies.
